Borja is studying last year of Bachelor and Business Administration and Marketing in Camilo José Cela University (Madrid). Where he is the Oratory Club president and one of the main organizers of the Madrid International Model of United Nations.

He has participated in several MUNs in Spain, both as a delegate and as a chair. He also enjoys going MUNing outside Spain; he has participated as a delegate in some of them, and has planned a couple more, where he likes meeting new people and new ways of organizing and doing MUNs and different simulations.

Outside MUNs he likes videogames, long walks in Madrid and going out with his friends and he’s very passionate about cars, beer and his cats.

He is looking forward to meet everybody in March in ECOSOC in University Carlos III.

CO-CHAIR

GUILLERMO PALOMAR MIÑONES

Guillermo is currently undertaking a double degree in Law and Economics at Pompeu Fabra University (Barcelona). He has participated in several MUNs across Europe, which he acknowledges to have been very beneficial in training his oratory and problem-resolution skills. Some of his main areas of interest include the causes of major ethnic conflicts in the world, the Arab Spring and refugee studies. In this regard, he has taken a course at the London School of Economics on international conflict resolution and one on refugee law and forced migration at the University of New South Wales (Sydney), and has recently become an enthusiast of international law moot court competitions. So he is really looking forward to hear about your creative thoughts on the topics covered in this year’s edition of UC3MUN!
